- Fabric Features Mame-Shibori This fabric has the classic polka-dot “Mame-Shibori” pattern, which looks like it is studded with bean grains. It has a light and supple feel and is woven in a plain weave with rough gaps, making it highly absorbent and dries quickly. The more it is used, the more it becomes familiar, soft to the touch, and easy to use. Recommended for hachimaki (headband), tenugui (hand towel), and Japanese accessories.
- (Cautions for using Mame-Shibori) The color will fade, so we recommend washing each item separately. Wash by hand at first, then machine wash when color fading is gone. Use a mild detergent (without bleach).
