The shunting locomotives Gr. 835 represent one of the most long-lasting and popular Italian steam locomotives group: built between 1906 and 1922 in a total of 370 units, they are the evolution of the former Gr. 830 of the €œRete Mediterranea€, remained in service until €˜80s years and some units have been preserved in museums or as a monument in some Italian locations.
